Mission Statement

The Social Policy Institute is dedicated to the development and evaluation of quality human service programs that focus on family and community well being by integrating research, policy development and practice. The Institute is particularly focused on prevention programs that reduce adverse outcomes for vulnerable individuals, families, and communities. To this end, we assist with community needs assessments, as well as program development and evaluation. Recently this prevention and community development focus has been expanded to include communities in Mexico and the transborder San Diego-Tijuana region.
